Dr Ertan Erel is a highly qualified and experienced plastic surgeon who graduated from Aegean University in Turkey and worked in the Turkish NHS before moving to the UK. He completed his surgical training in East Yorkshire and his plastic surgery training in West Midlands. He also earned a Master of Science degree from University College London for his innovative research in plastic surgery.

He has gained valuable skills and knowledge from his fellowships in cosmetic surgery and microsurgery in Istanbul, Gent, Izmir and Cambridge. He excels in breast reconstruction, especially using perforator free flap (DIEP flap), lower limb reconstruction, rhinoplasty and skin cancer.

He is a prolific researcher and writer, having published 22 papers and presented 46 times at national and international meetings. He is also an editorial board member for the Turkish Plastic Surgery Journal.

I am now 3 months post Op and can 100% say with clarity and confidence that he delivered an expert but natural result with which I am extremely pleased with.
